In 1837, after George Wostenholm’s son joined his business, he renamed his company “George Wostenholm & Son”. The company operated out of the Rockingham Works facility until 1847. After 1847, the company manufactured razors from the Washington Works in Sheffield. Since this razor was made at the Rockingham Works facility, the razor for sale was manufactured before 1847.
