Thanks for visiting my site. I am a retired Air Force officer with a passion for vintage and antique items. The name of my site, SUPERNOVA, reflects a combination of my last name, Supernor, and my current geographical location: Northern Virginia, also known as NOVA. Hence Supernova Antiques.
A real “supernova” is an astronomical event that occurs during the last stellar evolutionary stages of a massive star’s life, whose dramatic and catastrophic destruction is marked by one final titanic explosion. So I am hopeful that my shop is not literally a “supernova”.I am also an EBAY and ETSY seller but I started this site to have greater flexibility to work with my listings and customers.
The picture on this page is direct evidence that I was weened on Pepsi and the lax parenting standards of the 1960s. Despite my beginnings, today I am definitely a Coca Cola guy.
