For sale is a 1946 YEARBOOK from ARMSTRONG JUNIOR COLLEGE OF SAVANNAH,
Savannah, Georgia. A fascinating look at America life at the end of WWII. This small college class was almost entirely women because young men had yet to return from the Army. Page 7 of the yearbook is a memoriam page listing 23 male alumni who were wartime casualties. Another practice that highlights that this book was printed in a much different time is that student profiles include a student’s height and weight. This yearbook is also proof of the popularity of pearl necklaces in the 1940s. This 90 page yearbook is in very good condition with some small mildew spots. All the pages are present put some of them have become loose from the binding. A cool mid-century collectible.
