For sale is a vintage QUEEN VICTORIA ERA STRAIGHT EDGE RAZOR from Sheffield, England with a barber’s notch. The tang is stamped with a crown logo and the letters “VR” indicate the razor was made during the reign of Queen Victoria (Victoria Regina). Queen Victoria’s reign lasted from June 20, 1837, to January 22, 1901. The razor has a large 7/8” wide blade which is a very uncommon size. The blade is in good condition but the handle has some edge damage. The straight razor is about 6 1/2 inches in length closed or 10 inches open. Straight edge razors are also called open razors and cut-throat razors. A superb collectible straight edge razor.
