For sale is original mid-century TREET Single Edged RAZOR BLADES made by the American Safety Razor Corporation, New York, New York. Box and blades are in fair condition. Box originally held four individual wrapped razor blades but only one remains. An uncommon vintage shaving collectible.
Gem & Ever-Ready companies merge with Star and became the American Safety Razor Corporation in 1919. The new company was chartered in Virginia while razor and blade production remained in Brooklyn. In 1953, American Safety Razor acquired the Pal, Treet and Personna brands. In 1954, the company factory was relocated to Staunton, Virginia. The box for sale is believed to date to the 1950s.
