For sale is an original VINTAGE TEXACO GAS STATION TOP PERFORMER AWARD. This impressive pewter model of a Texaco Gas Station probably dates to the 1990s. The plaque is inscribed “BUILDING THE BRAND TOGETHER – YEAR ONE WINNER”. This award was probably given to the most profitable Texaco Station Manager with a given region. The award is in excellent condition. The wood base measures about 11 1/2 inches by 13 1/2 inches. (Model car depicted in photos sold separately) Great gift for any petroliana enthusiast.

In 1901, the Texas Fuel Company was founded in Beaumont, Texas, by Joseph S. Cullinan, a former Standard Oil field worker, and Arnold Schlaet, a New York investment manager. In 2001, Texaco was acquired by Chevron Corporation.​
