For sale is a vintage replica of a WWI US ARMY 14TH INFANTRY DIVISION PATCH or shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI). Unit patches identified the soldier’s assigned headquarters. Before there was a sigil for house Stark there was the 14th Infantry Division also known as the “Wolverine Division”. This short lived Army unit was activated in 1918 and deactivated in 1919. This patch is believed to be a 1940s era produced replica of the exceptionally rare WWI designed patch. It’s a shame the US Army discontinued a unit with a unit insignia this awesome.
