Starting in 1932, most Telechron and G.E. clocks used the initial model number for their clocks to match their function. For example, clocks with the first number being a “3” which indicates the clock is a 3 series clock which was for “small desk clocks”. This clock which starts with an “AB” is an exception that does not follow their “series” function rule. The company spent huge amounts on magazine and newspaper ads and brochures. The art deco designs of their pre-War period clocks are still the most collected and prized of all.
