For sale is a 1980s FRANKLIN MINT PRECISION CLASSIC CAR COLLECTION, 10 CARS & DISPLAY WOOD SHELF. The high end four-tiered wood display shelf has metal trim and chrome sign at the top which reads: “The Classic Cars of the Fifties”. The shelf was designed to hang on a wall as a display for Franklin Mint Precision Model cars. The wood shelf measures measures about 20 inches by 19 1/4 inches. The die cast cars are 1:43 scale and in very good or excellent condition. The cars have a lot of detail with working doors, trunks, rubber tires, and finished interiors. Almost all of the cars were made by the Franklin Minto but a few of the cars were made by another company. The cars included with the sale of the shelf are as follows:

The brand, Franklin Mint, is well-known for its high-quality collectibles, and this set is no exception. The company sold its set as a monthly subscription. Each car cost about $50 and a car was mailed every other month to the buyer. The buyer was billed about $25 each month until the entire set was completed.
