For sale is a vintage 1965 BOY SCOUT CAMPOREE PATCH in excellent condition. A camporee is a local or regional gathering of Scouting units for a period of camping and common activities. Similar to a camporee, a jamboree occurs less often and draws units from the entire nation or world.  This patch measures about 3 inches in diameter.  Buy this patch and then watch Adam Sandler in the SNL canteen boy sketch.

This 1965 Camporee Patch features a covered wagon with a launching rocket.  A great reminder that at this time our nation was in the thick of the space race. T he program of the Boy Scouts of America is administered through 272 local councils, with each council covering a geographic area that may vary from a single city to an entire state. This patch was from the North Orange Council.
