For sale is a 1964 NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR EMBROIDERED BUCKET HAT made by Arlington Hat Company. The large size hat is in very good condition with some light staining. The hat is embroidered “Connie Lou”. The Arlington Hat company was founded in 1945. An uncommon World’s Fair collectible.

The 1964–1965 New York World’s Fair held over 140 pavilions and 110 restaurants, representing 80 nations, 24 US states, and over 45 corporations with exhibits or attractions at Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The theme was symbolized by a 12-story-high, stainless-steel model of the Earth called the Unisphere, built on the foundation of the Perisphere from the 1939 World’s Fair.
