For sale is a 1935 FORD PICKUP TRUCK DIECAST MODEL from the DANBURY MINT. This incredibly realistic 1:24 scale model was sold by the Danbury Mint in 1993. This model which was sold as part of the Danbury Mint’s “Legendary pickups from the 1930s and 1940s collection”. The jet black model duplicates the full size 1935 Ford pickup truck down to the tiniest details. Both doors open showing a stick shift and a dashboard complete with minuscule gauges. The rubber whitewall tires turn. Under the hood is the engine block. The tailgate opens and closes. The mechanical details of the trucks’ undercarriage are extremely accurate. The model is in very good condition. The truck measures approximately 7-1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall. The 1-1/2 pound metal model is heavy for its size. A first rate collectible model car.
