For sale is a rare 1930s LITHOGRAPHIC WINDUP TURTLE from the J CHEIN Toy Company. This unusual and colorful mechanical tin toy still winds up and the turtle’s head bobs up and down when the toy unwinds. The windup mechanism is no longer strong enough to propel itself across the floor. The toy’s graphic is in excellent condition with minor wear. The toy is missing a tin lithographic native boy who would stand on top of the shell riding the giant turtle. The lithographic toy measures about 8 inches long. A top notch collectible toy.
