For sale is an original 1950s TRU-ACTION TUDOR ELECTRIC FOOTBALL GAME & ORGINAL BOX from Tudor Metal Products Corporation, Brooklyn, NY. This toy is missing the football players and metal goal posts. The vibrating lithographic football field is in working condition. The cardboard box has great graphics of two football players wearing the leather helmets with no face mask. The game is marked with a patent number 2,167,985 which was filed in 1939. This game was advertised as the First Electric Football Game at the 1949 New York City Toy Fair. The tin metal football field measures 26 1/2 inches long, by 15 1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. A great collectible vintage toy.
