This product was made by the Jaques Manufacturing Company, Chicago, Illinois. Since this company started making baking powder in 1890. This notebook was published in the late 1920s. The notebook measures about 6 1/2 inches by 3 7/8 inches. The front cover has vivid color depiction of the Gold Label Baking Powder Tin. This 17 page booklet contains numerous recipes including but not limited to recipes for: Sour Cream Goulash, Scotch Stew, Ham & Corn Fritters, Veal Shortcake, and Lady Baltimore Cake. The binding is intact. Overall this item is in excellent condition. A great display item or addition to your baking powder or baking soda tin collection.
