For sale is an antique early 1900s ENTERPRISE FOUR QUART LARD PRESS from the Enterprise Manufacturing Company, Philadelphia, PA. This incredible heavy cast iron lard, sausage or fruit press is rust free and is in great condition. This incredible press has a wood handle and has embossed lettering on the arch of the press which reads “Enterprise MFG. Co. Phila. – U.S.A.” The crank handle turns freely. The circular top plate has a weld repair to the plate. The plate is a small size plate, No 25, which is sized to use with the insert basket or screen. The press includes the insert basket or sleeve and the bottom cast iron plate. The arch for the press is marked with the number “2079”. The heavy press with the plate raised to the top measures about 24 inches tall, and about 13 inches wide including the handle. The circular press measures about 6 3/4 inches diameter. A rare one-of-a-kind display item for your vintage décor.
