For sale is a heavy and large vintage HANGING CHATILLON’S MILK SCALE is designed expressly for dairy applications. This rust free 60 pound capacity metal spring scale has a shiny brass clock face gauge and maker’s mark. The brass face is inscribed with the following text: “CHATILLON’S IMPROVED CIRCULAR SPRING BALANCE TO WEIGH 60 LB – MILK SCALE – Each 20 lb is marked on the slide – The intermediate weight on the circle – Warranted – New York”. Scale measures approximately 12 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. Accuracy is unknown but scale still works as intended. Hanging scales of this size are hard to come by. A must have for any vintage scale collector.
