For sale is a vintage new old stock box of PERSONNA HAIR SHAPER BLADES made by the American Safety Razor Company, Staunton, VA. Box includes partial contents: two brand new shaper blades. Box measures 2 1/2 inches in length. A nice addition to anyone vintage interested in vintage barber or shaving collectibles.
Gem & Ever-Ready companies merge with Star and became the American Safety Razor Corporation in 1919. The new company was chartered in Virginia while razor and blade production remained in Brooklyn. In 1953, American Safety Razor acquired the Pal, Treet and Personna brands. In 1954, the company factory was relocated to Staunton, Virginia. The box for sale is believed to date to the 1950s or 1960s.
