For sale is a collection of THREE 1932 LOVE LETTERS between a husband and wife. The letters were written between Feb 7, 1932 and March 9, 1932 while the husband was on a business trip in Weston, W. VA and sent back home to his wife in Cumberland, MD. In every letter, the husband references the song “Look in the Mirror” to express his love for his missed spouse. An interesting choice because the song is more whimsical than romantic. You can hear the song at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqHY6axmOEc

The content of the letters written during the great depression reference a local business burning to the ground the day before an epic rainstorm flooded the entire town; and Charles being quarantined for Whooping cough. The husband absent mindedly makes the same bad joke in his 1st and 3rd letter (which was about two weeks later.) Use these letters to inspire the plot line for your graphic novel.
