For sale is a vintage ONE OUNCE BRASS PANCAKE SCALE WEIGHT from an unknown maker. The brass weight is marked with the crown and “LR 48” and measures about 1 inch diameter.
British commercial weights have always been regulated by some authority or other, and generally exhibit marks showing when, and by whom, they were tested.
