For sale is a cool brass vintage PAD LOCK and CHAIN from the Eagle Lock Company, Terryville, Connecticut. This pad lock is in good condition but it’s missing a key. This large heavy lock makes a great display piece. Measures 2 1/2 inches overall Height, 1 1/2 inches Wide , and 1/2 inch thick. A decent collectible lock. Buy it and practice your Houdini lock picking skills.
The Eagle Lock Company was established in 1833 and was once the largest trunk and cabinet lock maker in the world. Eagle Lock was at the forefront of padlock security in its time. The factory had a manufacturing line of over 2000 different kinds of locks. The lock company went out of business in 1975 after an employee strike.
