For sale is an interesting AMBER PECTIN MEASURING BOTTLE. This collectible bottle probably dates to the 1930s or 1940s. The bottle is embossed with a 1/2 cup measurement on the front of the bottle with an arrow pointing down to a line in the middle of the bottle and one pointing up to the same line. The bottom of the bottle is marked “12” and “D 10 1” on the bottom. Pectin is a naturally occurring starch found in fruits and vegetables. Pectin is used as a gelling agent in jams, marmalades and jellies. The bottle measures 7 1/2 inches in height.
