For sale is a vintage AMBER BEEHIVE ORANGE CRUSH Bottle from the Marion Bottling company, Marion, Virginia. This 7 ounce bottle is in very good condition with surface wear and a chipped base. This Duraglass bottle is believed to date to the 1960s. Bottle stands about 7 and 1/2 inches tall. A great addition for any vintage soda bottle collection.
In 1911, Clayton J. Howel, president and founder of the Orange Crush Company, partnered with Neil C. Ward. Ward made the recipe for Orange Crush. Crush was first premiered as Ward’s Orange Crush. Originally, Orange Crush included orange pulp in the bottles, giving it a “fresh squeezed” illusion even though the pulp was added rather than remaining from squeezed oranges. Pulp has not been in the bottles for decades.
