Large 1965 BARBIE & FRANCIE DOLL CASE – Mattel

For sale is a large 1965 BARBIE & FRANCIE DOLL CARRY CASE made by Mattel. This vinyl brief case size doll case was designed with storage spaces for two dolls. The inside of the case has two hanging rails, two pockets, and two small boxes to store clothing and accessories.  Francie was Barbie’s “MOD”ern cousin and the style and fashion outside of the case is classic 1960’s MOD fashion style. The outside of the case is in much better condition than the inside where several different small spots of the plastic are burned or melted. The cause of the damage is unclear but unbeknownst to Barbie, hipster Francie may have been running a meth lab. The case measures approximately 17 1/2 inches, by 14 inches, by 3 and 3/4 inches. A stylish collectible toy that displays well.
