For sale is a vintage 1977 DODGE ADVERTIDING CALENDAR which features cover art from the 1920s LIBERTY WEEKLY MAGAZINE. This advertising calendar was distributed by Ed Brueilly Dodge, Mansfield, PA. The concept for this retro style calendar is based on the fact that days of the week for a calendar for the year of 1927 are identical for a calendar for the year of 1977. Each month of this 1977 calendar is dated 1927 to match the 1920s illustrations for each month. The calendar is complete and in excellent condition. The calendar measures 13 inches by 7 inches. The calendar has an tab with a hole for easy hanging. 1927 was the year Charles Lindberg flew the first solo crossing of the Atlantic.  A great display item for anyone who enjoys Norman Rockwell style illustrations of American life.

Liberty Magazine made its debut on May 4, 1924. Liberty pioneered the one-page, short story format. The magazine espoused public causes such as promoting the New Deal legislation, safe driving, and anti-lynching.
