For sale is an original 1961 STUDEBAKER-PACKARD CORPORATION STOCK CERTIFICATE. This certificate in the amount of 100 shares was issued to the Oscar Gruss & Son Company. This certificate features a detailed graphic of a Greek god admiring an engine piston. This certificate is in great condition. The certificate is double sided and measures about 12 inches by 8 inches. A great collectible for any classic car enthusiast.

In 1852, the Studebaker brothers found the Studebaker company to build wagons for business owners traveling throughout the country. The initial Studebakers were covered wagons that helped build the American West. Studebaker entered the automotive business in 1902 with electric vehicles and in 1904 with gasoline vehicles, all sold under the name “Studebaker Automobile Company”. After an unsuccessful 1954 merger with Packard (the Studebaker-Packard Corporation), in 1962, the ‘Studebaker Corporation’ name was restored again as its own company. So the stock certificate for sale was the last year the Studebaker-Packard Corporation was in business.
