For sale is a vintage 1960s MINOLTA MINI 35 SLIDE PROJECTOR & COVER BAG. Projector uses a Chiyoda Kogaku Lens. The projector is untested and needs a replacement projector bulb. Inside of the carry case is a metal manual slide changer. Time to break out Grandpa’s slides from the war.

In 1928, the Nichi-Doku Shashinki Shōten company was founded in Osaka, Japan. The company’s name translated as the Japanese-German camera shop. The company made the first integrated autofocus 35 mm SLR camera system. In 1931, the company adopted Minolta Co., Ltd as its name which is an acronym for “Mechanism, Instruments, Optics, and Lenses by Tashima”.
