For sale is a mid-century TAN LEATHER BREIFCASE & KEY from the R.F. Young Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. This vintage cordovan top grain cowhide briefcase has a working lock and key. This case probably dates to the 1960s and is in good condition with some minor scratches and scuffs consistent with age.

This sturdy traveling salesman case is an extra wide, hard sided carry case. The interior of the case is divided into three interior compartments with each side of the case having a large expandable file pocket. Push button metal snaps open the locks on top of the case.  Case has eight heavy metal balled feet on bottom to hold the case upright. The case’s bottom corners are reinforced with stitched leather. Case is easily large enough to use for a laptop. The bag measures about 17 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 12 inches tall.  A great vintage luggage item.
