For sale is an original 1952 EISENHOWER PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN RIBBON & TWO PINBACKS. The IKE Ribbon is a very uncommon find. One pinback is an “I Like IKE” button and the other pinback is “IKE and DICK” button. I wonder if the campaign had the nerve to issue an “I Like DICK” button. A great set of a political collectibles.

The 1952 United States presidential election ended with Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower winning on a landslide victory over Democrat Adlai Stevenson, which ended 20 years of Democratic rule that stretched back to 1932. Eisenhower retained his enormous popularity from the war, as was seen in his campaign slogan, “I Like Ike.” Eisenhower’s popularity and Truman’s unpopularity led to a Republican victory, with Eisenhower winning every state outside of the South. Ike’s ran with Richard Nixon as his running mate. Ike’s opponent, Adlai Stevenson’s running mate was John Sparkman.
