For sale is a 1950s FORD 4-DOOR SEDAN WINDUP TOY CAR. The blue car has rubber tires, metal grill, metal bumpers and metal hubcaps. The windup mechanism works but not well enough to propel the car from a dead stand up. If you wind the car and give it a push the spring unwinds and the cars rolls a little faster and further than merited by the push. It’s interesting that the front windshield is a split windshield. By about 1955, most cars had abandoned the split windshield design. Car measures about 7 5/6 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. A great collectible toy.
