For sale is an original 1950s COCA-COLA STAINLESS STEEL ICE CHEST COOLER made by Action Manufacturing Company, Kansas City, Kansas. This cooler is in excellent condition with minor dents and wear consistent with age. The cooler has the original carry handle and the side bottle cap opener. This cooler is marked with a patent number D-152580 which was filed on Feb. 8, 1949. The cooler stands about 14 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. This authentic piece of Americana is first rate coca cola collectible.

On May 8, 1886, Dr. John Pemberton brought his perfected syrup to Jacobs’ Pharmacy in downtown Atlanta where the first glass of Coca‑Cola was poured. Originally marketed as a temperance drink and a patent medicine. The name refers to two of its original ingredients: coca leaves and kola nuts (a source of caffeine).
