For sale is an original 1948 SHENANDOAH MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY BILL from Woodstock, Virginia. The mailing envelope is postmarked May 25, 1948 and has a three cent stamp. The envelope was used to send two different documents. One document is a receipt from the insurance company noting payment of an annual fire insurance premium of $3.55 for the property of Mr. Grad Stoneburner. The other document is a deposit slip from Massanutten Bank of Strasburg to document a deposit of $162.50 (probably a monthly paycheck) minus the amount of the $3.55 insurance payment.
