For sale is an original 1940s MOVIE POSTER for WHAT’S BUZZIN’ COUSIN? This 1943 WWII era film featured Ann Miller, Eddie Rochester Anderson, John Hubbard, Leslie Brooks, Teresa Harris and Jeff Donnell. The black and white paper poster measures 9 1/2 inches by 13 inches. The poster has yellowed consistent with its age. Back in the day, when a new movie was going to play at the local theatre, there would be a guy who would run around town tacking these things on bulletin boards, telephone poles, fence posts, or anyplace else where they might be seen. An interesting Hollywood collectible.

Ann Miller got top billing in this movie, but Rochester was the big draw. “Rochester” was well known as the Butler on the Jack Benny Radio Show. He was the first African American to have a regular role on a Nationwide radio program. The poster describes “Rochester’s Clowning is good for the funny bone”. The poster describes Miller’s dancing as “easy on the eyes”
