For sale is a working 1930s GREEN METAL PLUG-IN TOY STOVE with a cloth covered electrical cord. This toy was probably made by the Girard Manufacturing Company. The Girard Company was in business from 1922 through 1935. The top has two burners and an oven. The base is designed to appear as if there are three cabinet doors. The stove measures 10 inches long, 8 1/2 inches tall, and 5 inches deep. This toy is the dangerous predecessor for the much safer Easy Bake Oven. The heating elements for this ill-advised electric stove still work. Use of this toy stove is not advised due to risk of electrical shock, fire, and burns. The stove is in overall great condition and has its original paint. A great collectible toy.
