For sale is a late 1800s restored ORNATE HUMPBACK DOME TRUNK. This amazing Victorian era trunk is in excellent condition and coated with tin and wood slats. The center tin portions are a very intrigue pressed tin floral pattern. The trunk interior walls and inside storage compartment on the top lid has the trunk’s original fabric lining. The top interior portion has two full color decorative paper labels which feature a row boat on the shore and a young girl. Trunk has an
interior insert tray that is not original to the trunk which lifts out of the trunk. The bottom wood slats have four small wheels so the trunk can be rolled along the floor. The front metal clasps work well and the trunk closes tight. The key to lock the trunk is missing. The leather handles at the short ends of the trunk are present and useable but are not original to the trunk. The trunk is rust free and looks great from all angles.
