For sale is an original 1960s TRU-ACTION TUDOR ELECTRIC FOOTBALL GAME Model No. 500 & ORGINAL BOX from Tudor Metal Products Corporation, Brooklyn, NY. This toy has the full set of football players for both teams and both metal goal posts. The vibrating lithographic football field is in working condition. This set also includes the metal quarterback figure which has a worn spring. The cardboard box has great graphics of two football players wearing the leather helmets with no face mask. The game is marked with a patent number 2,772,512 which was filed in 1955. This game was originally advertised as the First Electric Football Game at the 1949 New York City Toy Fair. The tin metal football field measures 26 1/2 inches long, by 15 1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. A great collectible vintage toy.
