For sale is a vintage FRENCH STEEPLE CHASE BOARD GAME in new old stock condition. The dice board game is for 2 to 4 plays and simulates a horse race around a circular track. This game dates to the early 1980s and is probably inspired by a much older steeple chase game. The game pieces remain sealed in their original pouch. The game board measures about 9 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The game pieces includes four horses, a pair of dice, a wooden cup to throw dice and gambling chips. The game box is 10 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide, and 1 1/2 inches tall. The game is the perfect size for travel.
This game was made and sold in France and the instructions on the box lid are in French. This ad includes a picture of an English version of the instructions but the English instructions are not included in this sale.
