This 4 oz size tin with partial contents is in excellent condition with strong color. The front features a nice floral graphic. The back includes the brands slogan: “Cashmere Bouquet The Talc With The Fragrance Men Love”. This tin stands about 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide. Perfect for your vintage display.
This CASHMERE BOUQUET brand is better known for its soap. CASHMERE BOUQUET SOAP, “The Fragrance Men Love”, was made by the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Co. In 1928, Palmolive-Peet bought the Colgate Company to create the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Company. In 1953, “Peet” was dropped from the title, leaving only “Colgate-Palmolive Company”, the current name. This vintage tin was made after 1953.
