For sale is an ORIGINAL 1949 GEORGE WASHINGTON v VMI FOOTBALL PROGRAM. The cover of this Virginia Military Institute Football Program depicts a silhouette of an Eagle melding into the American flag from the leatherhead football era. This 31-page program is complete and in very good condition with no torn pages. The original owner recorded the game score on the front of the program (VMI prevailed with a score of 14 to 7). The program features a team photo and photos of several players who quite honestly lack an athletic build. The program also features lots of great ads to include full color a Bing Crosby Chesterfield Cigarette Ad; a Camels Cigarettes’ Ad; and an ad for the 1948 Kaiser Traveler Auto which sold new for $2,088.
