The cover of this program depicts the quarterback wearing a leather helmet launching a pass from the chaos of a collapsing pocket. The program was printed for a High School Football game that occurred on September 23, 1949. This 8-page program is complete and in good condition with no torn pages. The original owner wrote the score of the game on the cover (Hopewell won in a blowout 58 to 0). The program contents features photos of some of the players, a variety of ads from local businesses, and a great full color coca cola advert. The bottom of the coca cola ad features a tutorial on the referee signals for the various penalties. The program original sold for 10 cents.
