For sale is an original 1931 LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE’S SONG MUSIC SHEET compliments of Ovaltine and the Orphan Annie radio show. The music sheet front cover features portraits of Annie and Sandy’s cleverly set into musical notes by artist-creator Harold Gray. This sheet is also an early OVALTINE PROMOTIONAL ITEM ever issued for Little Orphan Annie. This sheet is in excellent condition with some slight surface discoloration but no tears. Inside music is free of any writing or marks. This sheet measures about 9″ x 11.5″. This great collectible item is complete and untrimmed and is perfect for display.

Little Orphan Annie was a daily American comic strip created. The strip took its name from the 1885 poem “Little Orphant Annie” by James Whitcomb Riley, and made its debut on August 5, 1924 in the New York Daily News. It ranked number one in popularity in a Fortune poll in 1937. Little Orphan Annie inspired a radio show in 1930.
